RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The position holder will be responsible for developing new business/targeting clients for clinical services in Europe and cross-sell complementary services from others business units
  • Prepare, track and achieve account plans
  • Deliver according to agreed sales target
  • Maintain and expand the potential client network to identify and develop new business
  • Create convincing and tailor-made proposals on request for potential customers in coordination with the operational and proposal teams
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams to understand the internal capabilities and capacities and translate this into effective sales strategies for the business unit
  • Organize customer appointments, organize and participate to events/conventions; set up client meetings, roadshows etc. to effectively promote Nuvisan
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and rigor by appropriately managing business priorities  
  • Keep constant information circulation with all relevant elements related to RFPs, proposals, email (client and internal), meetings, conference calls, etc. communicated in the CRM
  • Provide systematic feedback on customer needs to the operational teams in order to improve overall processes and market success of Nuvisan
  • Keep on top of market changes and trends
  • Frequently monitors and reports activity against plan
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical/ life science industry in clinical development, ideally with a focus in early phases in the following areas: sales, marketing consulting, data analytics with a strong acumen for business and client services
  • Knowledge of the European market
  • Very high willingness to travel (50-60%) to clients and congresses 
  • Experience using a CRM platform and a modern selling environment

Manage bid defense processes

  • Prepare and manage bid defense processes for clinical services including timely information-sharing with all internal stakeholders, meeting preparation and rehearsal (if needed). Lead follow-up and conclusion of such meetings.
  • Foster collaboration and active communication with project teams to secure success of bid defense processes and provide opportunities for feedback.
  • Support the Contract process and Collaborate with Legal Department

Enforce the Maintenance requirement of the Sales Force database:

  • Ensure that all relevant client meetings, RFP information and updates appropriately documented within the CRM platform

Respect the internal procedures in force (Quality Assurance, Environment-Safety, BD)

QUALIFICATONS

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical/ life science industry in clinical development, ideally with a focus in early phases in the following areas: sales, marketing consulting, data analytics with a strong acumen for business and client services
  • Knowledge of the European market
  • Very high willingness to travel (50-60%) to clients and congresses
  • Experience using a CRM platform and a modern selling environment
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
