YOUR RESPONSIBILITY 

Assume leadership for the In Vitro PK group in Nuvisan at the Grafing site with associated laboratory unit and assigned direct reports. Ensure adequate training of staff to further develop capabilities and strengths

Coordinate work to ensure optimal employment of resources and achieve financial targets. Ensure smooth and timely interaction with other groups

Contribute to operational, financial, and strategic decisions; actively support the mission and objectives set by Nuvisan

Provide scientific advice to clients particularly in the field of in vitro PK, identify project issues and elaborate solutions with client’s representatives and line management

Evaluate and implement new technologies, techniques, and skills in accordance with the site strategy and ensure continuous improvement of processes

Author, edit, and review service estimates, reports, quality and/or strategic documents as well as marketing material and ensure their appropriate quality

Represent function scientific area, and expertise outside of Nuvisan upon request

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

PhD in pharmacy, biochemistry, chemistry, or related fields with relevant DMPK experience at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech industry, or at CROs (at least 5 years)

Excellent understanding of in vitro ADME assays in the context of drug candidate selection and development towards clinical phase

Experience in leading teams with more than 5 direct reports 

Profound knowledge of the drug discovery and development process and how DMPK studies contribute to that

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, both in English and German

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, high personal initiative.
