We are seeking a motivated organic chemist who would like to join our Isotope Chemistry Team in Grafing near Munich.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Synthesis of radio-labeled small molecules (especially 14C) including planning, conduct, evaluation, and reporting.

In the role as responsible chemist, provide advice to clients regarding suitable label position and update on project status and results.

Determination of purity and identity of synthesized material including quality control according to relevant regulations

Monitoring of activities subcontracted to contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs)

Evaluation, development, and implementation of new technologies and skills in organic synthesis and radiochemical synthesis in accordance with department strategy

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

MSc or PhD with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in organic chemistry

In-depth knowledge of organic (medicinal) chemistry including analytical skills (HPLC, NMR, and MS)

Highly motivated, self-driven, accountable, and results-oriented person with excellent communication and presentation skills

Capable to work both as team player and project driver. High degree of flexibility in adapting to different projects and clients.

Excellent command of written and spoken English and German

Experience in isotope labeling and radiochemical synthesis (14C) is of advantage, but not required

General knowledge in IT (Windows platform)
