Our in vitro DMPK team in Berlin is seeking a motivated scientist with in vitro ADME expertise

Your Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a team of 3–4 lab technicians to plan, execute, and report routine in vitro DMPK assays (e.g., transporter, permeability, and stability).

Ensure high assay performance by providing hands-on support and troubleshooting for manual and automated in vitro ADME experiments.

Drive scientific excellence by maintaining high data accuracy, optimizing workflows, and continuously improving in vitro ADME methodologies.

Develop and implement new technologies to enhance in vitro DMPK capabilities and improve efficiency.

Act as the DMPK representative in cross-functional drug discovery and development teams, integrating in vitro and in vivo PK data for informed decision-making.

Support client interactions by preparing presentations, participating in customer visits, and contributing to audits.

Ensure compliance with GxP guidelines, radiation protection, and regulatory requirements, maintaining quality documentation (e.g., SOPs).

Your Profile

Ph.D. or equivalent experience in life sciences (e.g., chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy).

Strong expertise in drug metabolism, absorption, distribution, and ADME principles.

Knowledge of innovative DMPK technologies and their application in drug discovery.

Experience working in interdisciplinary teams, with a proven ability to address ADME challenges using in vitro and in vivo PK data.

Familiarity with global regulatory guidelines (EMA, FDA, ICH) related to in vitro DMPK and drug-drug interaction evaluation is a plus.

Collaborative, self-driven, and proactive mindset, with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
